Technology insights from BHL Holding | October 2026
The world of programming is undergoing a major transformation: from writing code line by line to creating software alongside artificial intelligence (AI). In this wave of change, Python is becoming one of the most important languages, thanks to its simple syntax, extensive ecosystem and outstanding AI integration capabilities.
A prominent trend today is AI coding and agentic coding — an approach in which tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code do more than suggest source code. They also assist with software design, program development, testing and bug detection. Developers are gradually moving from directly writing code to shaping ideas, designing architecture and overseeing product quality.
Python is particularly compelling in three areas: developing AI agents to automate work, building intelligent AI applications, and creating data-processing systems. With FastAPI, PyTorch and AI libraries, a small development team can quickly build products such as AI assistants, document summarization software, data analysis systems and AI services integrated into mobile applications.
Apple is also advancing its on-device AI ecosystem through MLX and Core AI, enabling Python to be used for AI model research, processing and optimization on Apple Silicon. Applications for iPhone and iPad are still primarily built with Swift and SwiftUI, with Python used in the AI layer or in server-side services.
According to the 2026 Stack Overflow Developer Survey, Python leads the group of languages used alongside AI tools, with a share of 39%.
The future of programming belongs not only to those who write the best code, but also to those who can combine creative thinking, Python and AI to turn ideas into products quickly, efficiently and with commercial value.
